Wayne State University Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 2,973 reviews
Rating 1 out of 5
I had the worst experience going to Wayne state; I was supposed to go to UM Dearborn. But I got stuck with Wayne state instead. They are too overpriced and charge you for every little thing. The science departments all suck and the professors are terrible and there is not one understanding professor. They are very inconsiderate, and they do not help their students in any way, instead they try to make their college life and experience worse. I recommend you going to a different school for your sake. They made my four years of being there a living hell and it was terrible.

Wayne State University in Detroit offers a diverse and dynamic academic environment. With a wide range of programs spanning from liberal arts to sciences, engineering, and beyond, it caters to various interests and career paths. The campus is vibrant, with numerous opportunities for student involvement in clubs, organizations, and community service. Faculty are knowledgeable and accessible, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere. The university's urban location provides unique cultural experiences and internships. However, like any institution, it faces challenges, including infrastructure maintenance and funding issues. Overall, Wayne State University is a reputable institution with a lot to offer its students.

Rating 3 out of 5
Wayne State University has great academics and professors, but all the other staff don't put forth effort or portray organization. The advisors refuse to provide plans or don't actually look at curriculum when they provide a plan. The surrounding area has a lot of potential for fun, but being Detroit does require caution. The campus itself is covered by police officers and feels very safe at any time of the day.
