At TMCC there are more professors that care about their students and acknowledge that we have lives outside of school. Class sizes aren't huge with the most being around 30 students if that. So many opportunities and I have met so many amazing lifelong friends. The school is very ecofriendly, diverse, and LGBTQ positive!

This school has the safest feeling and the most kind welcoming community. I was lucky to have some of the coolest professors who were kind, flexible, and genuinely cared. Most of my professors promoted critical thinking and didn't push their political opinions or ideas on us which I appreciated. This school is amazing I highly recommend it.

I took two classes as a nondegree seeking student. I had low expectations for a community college, but I was blown away by TMCC’s facilities and faculty. SGA had way more events than I ever expected. Facilities and instruction were well worth the cost. I can see how it would be difficult to keep clubs when many students leave after 2 years.

TMCC is a great first step before transferring to UNR. The business club only meets once a semester and the rest of the meetings are virtual so it can be challenging to meet people through just one event per semester. Although the social aspect of the school isn't fantastic I am glad I attended this school before transferring to the university!

TMCC is a great school if you're somebody who is there to focus on learning. The clubs are rather lacking. There's a wide range of ages on campus, from 15-year-olds to seniors taking classes, so socially, it can be kind of awkward at times to just drop down and start talking to someone. The professors are easily the highlights of the school.

If you are incoming International student I do not recommend this school. First of all the advisors does not really help you. During my first year they put me in a higher class that is not even on my plan and I had to figure everything all alone. I keep on emailing and calling them but you have to wait a week or so for them to answer you.

I enjoyed my experience at TMCC while I was there. The counselors did an excellent job of guiding me through the financial aid process. I also very much appreciated that the school reached out to me to advise me that had the credit requirements in order to graduate with my AA.

This is legitimately a good school overall. The class sizes are small so you get individual time with professors, most professors I've had have been great. The vibe of the campus is nice, and I love having a view of the city from campus.

I’m a freshmen attending this year. TMCC is honestly great in the fact I didn’t want to go to a big 4 year school. It’s not glamorous, but it’s definitely nice. I’ve had a hit and miss with a share of professors, but it’s like that everywhere. I 10000000% recommend coming here

TMCC has great work opportunities. Most of the teachers know what they are doing and try their best to push students to succeed. The campus is extremely safe and has a very kind officer on-site. There are plenty of resources including free tutoring. TMCC has a very low tuition cost compared to other schools. The food is horrible.

Good instructors are REALLY hard to find. Most put in the bare minimum, less than half of faculty are trained to use Canvas, none in full compliance w/ syllabus requirements. Clubs aren't very active, faculty advisors don't make effort. Students aren't easy to work with, group projects suffer. At least courses transfer to UNR. Nice views of Reno.

It is a great Community College but, it definitely feels like one. The Campus is hard to get to in the Winter and some programs are better run than others due to demand and local needs. Great place to get your Pre-Req's done before transfer and they're fully accredited and have direct transfers to UNR.

Bad location, On a high hill and sharply disconnected from commercial areas. Maybe if you drive it's ok, but if you don't have a car it's a hassle to travel there. There's maybe 4 open clubs? Little opportunity for socialization unless you already know students there. Very slow internet in most buildings. The staff is nice though. Clean.
