This Sweet Chex Mix recipe has a combination of chex cereal, pretzels, almonds, coconut, and teddy grahams tossedin a sweetbuttery syrup to make the most addicting snack mix!

- Affordable – Makes enough for a crowd, and the sweet syrup just uses pantry ingredients. Such a great snack while sticking to a budget. Feel free to swap other types of cereal that you already have on hand.
- Addicting – This sweet and salty Chex mix is one of my absolute favorite snacks and It’s always the star of the party, movie nights, camping, you name it!
How to make Sweet Chex Mix:
Combine Snack Ingredients: Place parchment paper on two sheet pans. Add allthe cereals, pretzels, teddy grahams, nuts, and coconut to a very large mixing bowl.
Make Syrup: Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat then add corn syrup and sugar and stir well. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Once the mixture comes to a full rolling boil, cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Toss Together: Slowly pour syrup over the Chex mix as you gently stirto coat the cereal.
Cool: Pour cereal mix out onto prepared baking sheets and allow to cool before eating. Enjoy the BEST sweet chex mix!
Make Ahead Instructions:
To Make Ahead: This sweet and salty Chex mix recipe can be made ahead of time and will keep well in an airtight container for 3-4 days.

- Mix-Ins – Snack mixes are great because you can adapt any of the main ingredients for what you like. Choose your favorite kind of Chex cereal or other types of cereal. Add peanuts, cashews, or your favorite nut, toss in m&m’s, chocolate chips, marshmallows, or whatever you like. The options are endless!

Ingredients
- 10 cups Chex cereal (Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex or a mix of multiple kinds)
- 3 heaping cup mini pretzel twists , or sticks
- 2 cups honey graham bears
- 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds*
- 2 cup shredded sweetened coconut , to taste
For the syrup coating:
- 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick)
- 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare two sheet pans with parchment paper. Add cereals, pretzels, honey grahams, nuts and coconut to a very large mixing bowl.
Add butter to a large saucepan over medium heat. Once melted add corn syrup and sugar and stir well to combine. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Once the mixture comes to a FULL rolling boil over medium heat, cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat immediately and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Slowly pour syrup over the chex mix and use a wooden spoon to gently stirto coat the cereal
Pour cereal out onto prepared baking sheet and allow to cool before eating.
Notes
Yield: Makes around 16 cups.
