EN/NL (below) Today, one of our project leaders Dr. Thomas Vogl presented his work at the "The 13thBiomedical Research into ME Research Colloquium (BRMEC13)" taking place in Cambridge, UK. His talk discussed how infectious diseases together with environmental and genetic factors trigger the onset of noncommunicable diseases, including ME/CFS and post-COVID. This event aims at "advancing research by promoting the exchange of knowledge and collaboration, thus enhancing global comprehension of ME." ➡ For more information on the conference, visit the website: https://lnkd.in/eYcMjznK ----- Vandaag presenteerde een van onze projectleiders Dr. Thomas Vogl zijn werk op het "The 13th Biomedical Research into ME Research Colloquium (BRMEC13)" dat plaatsvindt in Cambridge, Verenigd Koninkrijk. In zijn presentatie besprak hij hoe infectieziekten samen met omgevings- en genetische factoren bijdragen aan het ontstaan van niet-overdraagbare ziekten, waaronder ME/CVS en post-COVID. Dit evenement heeft als doel "het onderzoek te bevorderen door de uitwisseling van kennis en samenwerking te stimuleren en zo het wereldwijde begrip van ME te verbeteren."
