Where is the fuse located on a 2015 Chrysler 200? ›

The main fuses for your vehicle are located in the engine compartment fuse box. Recommend checking all of the fuses using a test light and with the ignition turned on then replace any that may have failed.

In most cases, the main fuse box is situated under the hood, near the battery, while secondary panels can be found in the passenger compartment, often hidden behind a removable panel.

Firstly, visually inspect the fuse and see if the filament inside is intact or broken. A blown fuse typically has a broken filament and a black or gray discoloration around it. Secondly, if your device isn't working despite being plugged in and switched on, it's likely that the fuse has blown.

The flaw is rooted in the 200's electrical connectors, which were provided by a supplier. FCA says that some of those components may have been damaged when the supplier conducted post-production validation tests. In some instances, the connectors can cause the sedan's engine to stall or shift the car into neutral.

Blown fuse – Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best one. A blown fuse in the starter circuit could be the cause of a no-start problem. Broken or corroded wiring – Damaged or dirty wires to the battery or to the starter solenoid (or wires that are loose) can prevent sufficient power from reaching the starter.

The two most common symptoms are: An overloaded circuit which will blow the fuses in question. As a result, this will cause any associated devices to disconnect.

Listen for an audible click as the electromagnetic coil activates and the internal switch closes. Switch your multimeter to continuity mode, listen for the audible beep, and test for continuity between the switch pins. If there's no beep, it means the switch pins are stuck open and your relay is faulty.
