Can I order something online and pick it up at Walmart? ›

Simply place an order online, choose a timeslot, and an associate will gather your items and place them in bags. When your order is ready, we'll send a Ready for Pickup email if you've chosen to pick up from your local store or your order can be delivered right to your door.

Here's how to do it on the Walmart website: Choose a convenient one-hour delivery window. Add products to your cart, including fresh groceries. Your items will be delivered during the time slot you picked.

Free Delivery from Store

Walmart+ members don't pay the $7.95-$9.95 delivery fee. There is a $35 order minimum for free delivery. If you don't meet the $35 order minimum, you will be charged a minimum order fee of $6.99. Express Delivery may be available in some locations for an added fee.

Before drivers accept an order, the app shows both their base pay and the customer's offered tip. But that tip can change over the course of 24 hours.

There is no price markup when using this online option. Walmart online groceries carry the same prices as local Walmart stores. If you order an item and its price drops by the time it's packed, don't worry, Walmart's got you covered. You'll be billed the lesser amount, ensuring you get the best deal.

For pickup orders, we'll use paper bags, and customers can choose to opt-in/out with no fee at checkout. Delivery orders will be received in paper bags with a $0.10 fee per bag. There won't be any changes for in-store shopping, as our stores can still use plastic bags for in-store shopping.

Why am I seeing two authorization charges on my account for an online order? This can happen if there's an issue with the pickup or delivery time slot of your order.

If you don't pick up the order by the end of the day, the store cancels your order the next day. This releases the authorization hold on your payment method. You can reschedule your timeslot, if needed.

If there's a delay in your scheduled delivery, you might get a text message or push notification giving you the option to change your delivery order to a store pickup. You can choose a time slot within the next 24 hours from when the notification was received.

If you are late to your scheduled Pickup, and the Pickup window is prior to 8 p.m., you can still check in by 8 p.m. local time on the Pickup date. If you are late to check in for your Pickup order and it is after 8 p.m., you should reschedule or cancel and reorder.

To put it as simply as possible: shipping is the date the product will leave the supplier's warehouse while delivery is the date the package will make it to the customer's doorstep.
