afaik they will stay, but without the mod they'll just be white boxes and be named [Unloaded item] or something along those lines

Flaring bow? Do you mean the flarewing bow? afaik that doesn't shoot from the sky. The Arterial Assault does shoot things from the sky, but it's post moon lord.

@MountainDrew I love the music that plays when ??? appears (The Siren, before she's aggro.) but could you make her spawn a little less often after I've beaten her? I have several mods on, and all I want is a few jellyfish so I can get a Jellyfish Necklace, and she spawn sooooo often, and I'm past that fight already. I keep accidentally killing ??? and starting the fight.

As soon as I killed her and Leviathan, ??? spawned again... :/

The shooting from the sky s more of a hindrance than a boon(blocks will block the arrows), combines that and its inaccuracy and you get a weapon only good for bossing.

I’m not mountaindrew, but I did understand why the spawnrate was a thing.
Simply put, some of us will be grinding this boss for hours to get a pearl of enthrallment for the heart of elements.

Except the spawnrate is even higher than that. That pearl has a 25% chance of dropping, I probably have about 3. I've accidentally spawned them like 15-20 times, and I get her to despawn more than that.

EDIT: I also kill them, and ignore all their drops most of the time.

Revamp all the astral content, implement the oficial SCal Thme (Stained, Brutal Calamity), remove her hitcap and buff her stats, nerf some weapons, add 2 town npc and... probably bugfixes

I know I've mentioned this earlier, but I want to update my calamity to the most recent version, (check my other post above). I'm worried that multiplayer won't work if I update it, as I'm doing a play through with my friend. I've also noticed the most recent version is not on the tmodloader mod browser, is there a reason for this?

Edit: Never Mind, the update just came out on tmodloader! i'm assuming that multiplayer works for it. Thanks anyway!

I finally see the ability to download the update, but it will not finish! Please help!

EDIT: Nvm we good can't wait to lose to some bosses again xD.

Thanks Dude. I've also noticed: Post SCal loot has either completely changed or been massively buffed, The endgame loot was super under-powered but it's actually good now, sprites have changed, and a lot more stuff that I haven't noticed yet.

Good Update!

Since the latest update, calamity is crashing a lot on world gen. I've tried a lot of different world sizes etc. and keep getting this error:

Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at CalamityMod.CalamityWorld.ExpandWorld(GenerationProgress progress)
at Terraria.GameContent.Generation.PassLegacy.Apply(GenerationProgress progress)
at Terraria.World.Generation.WorldGenerator.GenerateWorld(GenerationProgress progress)
at Terraria.WorldGen.generateWorld(Int32 seed, GenerationProgress customProgressObject)
at Terraria.WorldGen.do_worldGenCallBack(Object threadContext)
at Terraria.WorldGen.worldGenCallBack(Object threadContext)

If I use terracustom and save after each world gen step, it's saving right before the world generates planetoids.

I'm getting the same exact error, it has to be because generating the planetoids expands the world height.

EDIT: It seems to work fine if you disable Worldgen Previewer and generate a world inside the bounds of the normal limits. Generating a world that requires Large World Enabler or having Worldgen Previewer on causes it to crash.

i am kinda fimiliar with this problem when i played my calamity D mode lets play i used luiafk mod to make a skybridge from platforms this blocks meteorite / astral meteorite from spawning except if there is a block above them when i did an other playthrough after 1.3.4.105 update it spawned in planteoids cus the skybridge blocked again maybe thats the cause

In the dungeon in hardmode theres an enemy called the eidolist who drops the eidolon tablet.
Now in the game warframe theres an enemy called the ediolon which has 3 forms. Gargantualyst, hydrolyst, and teralyst.
But that isnt the best part.
Theres an enemy called the "eidolon wyrm" that looks like the blue grey and yellow worm below

And in warframe. Theres a sentenal called the wyrm that has that EXACT SAME COLOR PALLET (as seen below the calamity enemy)
Now either these guys are warframe fans or they literally copied from the game because they ran out of ideas.

I personally believe its the latter but you choose what you believe.

The Eidolon Wyrm's based off of the Ghost Leviathan from Subnautica, not the Wyrm Sentinel.

Eidolon's a word that refers to an idealized person or thing or a phantom/spectre.
