What is the Sheridan Rodeo Parade route for 2024? ›

The parade route will again include Main Street, with a new twist or “turn” to include Brooks Street. The new route will begin on North Main Street and head south, then turn right on Works St., and then head north on Brooks St.

It featured several rides, such as the Ferris Wheel, Twilt-a- Whirl, Mean Machine, and games like the Goldfish game. There were also snow cones, caramel apples and popcorn. Carnival's are fun for the whole family, and youngster especially love the rides and the games.

Founded in 1931, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo is one of the top rodeo events in the U.S. Some folks call it Sheridan's homecoming – when locals and visitors from across the globe gather year after year to celebrate the west and experience some of the best rodeo action in the world.

Held in Great Falls, Montana, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association ( PRCA ) sanctioned Big Sky Pro Rodeo is part of the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit.

Held annually since 1959 – and since 1985, every December at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas – the Wrangler NFR is ProRodeo's richest and most prestigious rodeo, and it showcases the very best cowboys, barrel racers and livestock in the world.

Carnival Tickets are valid for both rides and games and can be purchased at the carnival for 50 cents each. Most rides require four to 20 tickets.

The one-mile route on Spencer Highway will run from Spencer and Shaver and end on Dabney at Burke at the Pasadena Veteran's Memorial Stadium parking lot.

Event Details

Getting there: The parade route begins at Commerce and Houston Streets downtown. Pro tip – DART is the best way to get to downtown Dallas for the Dallas Holiday Parade.

The parade begins moving at 10:00 A.M. and concludes at approximately 12:30 P.M. The parade ends at the east end of Evergreen main street, at the intersection of Meadow Drive and SH 74.

How long is the rodeo? The rodeo begins at 7:00 pm and is generally finishing up around 8:30 or 9:00 pm.
