The Midnight Club: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Andrew Male Times (UK) ... Despite an utterly gripping linking story featuring Iman Benson as a patient desperate to unearth the history of the hospice, the stories themselves are more charming than scary. Oct 24, 2022 Full Review The Midnight Club: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Lauren Sarner New York Post For those who are looking for horror with heart, and a Halloween season viewing with more on its mind than blood and gore, it’s well worth a watch. Oct 15, 2022 Full Review The Midnight Club: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News While not frightening per se, “The Midnight Club” taps into the horrors that life presents us and the demons we chase inside, and outside. Their tales are the highlight of the show. By exchanging these stories, the group learns about the characters and what happened to them. I left wanting more Jul 25, 2023 Full Review The Midnight Club: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Pramit Chatterjee Digital Mafia Talkies Much like Flanagan’s previous works, the horror of The Midnight Club doesn’t only come from jump scares and nightmare-inducing images. It comes from the fear of losing the characters you are rooting for. It comes from the fear of death. Rated: 5/5 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Maxime D This series is great! I really enjoyed it and was hoping it would get another season! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/24 Full Review Audience Member If you're a fan of dark academia themes or just an interesting little mystery with hints of drama, thriller and, admittedly, some cheap spooks, this is for you! I found the dialogue to be often beautiful and insightful while also allowing for some silliness along the way. Most, if not all, characters are given depth and at least a while of screen time to really get to know them. My only gripe is that the ending was cut short as the series was cancelled unfortunately. However, i am completely satisfied with what i was able to see. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/01/24 Full Review Haydn C I LOVED every moment of this series! I highly recommend it! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Felix T Aimed at the 15-25 year old crowd, I found it too difficult to engage with the characters because I'm way past that age. I also found them pushing the "party" teen drinking, drug lifestyles didn't fit in with the story of terminally ill teens. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review mdk A well acted and heartfelt series that suffers from the fact that it was counting on a second season to answer all questions. That second season isn't coming so the scary part of the plot is never explained. The stories-within-stories setup is also a bit weak as most of the stories are only 'ok'. One or two just don't work and none are great. All that being said I still give it four stars as the characters are all well formed and sympathetic and the personal arcs are well done. Take away the horror elements and you're left with a touching and well done story of friendship and mortality. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Ashish P While The Midnight Club has interesting story, craft and characters, it commits the one sin that no Horror media should commit: It's not scary at all Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
