Population. Currently, there are more than 530 active-duty officers and more than 3,800 enlisted service members and their families stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Seymour Johnson AFB has three points of access. The Main Berkeley Gate is the only 24 hour option, and home to the Visitor Control Center (VCC). Both the Slocumb, which is open to all traffic, including RVs and Commercial, and Oak Forest Gates are open 0600-1800, M-F.
