Fluffy Overnight Cinnamon Rolls

These cinnamon rolls rise overnight in the refrigerator. This dough is rich with butter, milk, an egg and egg yolks – reminds me of tender and rich brioche dough. I always spread the warm rolls with a simple icing the melts, coats the rolls and slips into all the cinnamon swirls. Sometimes I make a simple butter, powdered sugar and milk icing, sometimes I make one with cream cheese – either way, they’re delicious!

Make Ahead Whipped Cream (Stabilized)

You can stabilize whipped cream by adding a little instant pudding mix to the heavy cream. It will help to keep your whipped cream from weeping and deflating – so you can whip it up to a day in advance! This recipe also makes a great whipped cream frosting and I use as a substitute for Cool Whip.

Cranberry Orange Scones

These Cranberry Orange Scones are a little crispy on the edges, but moist, tender and bursting with orange and cranberry flavor on the inside! I like to brush them with heavy cream and sprinkle with sparkling sugar. Adds a nice sparkle and crunch – and makes it possible to easily reheat – I think scones are best served warm! These are perfect for all your fall and winter holiday breakfasts, brunches and to enjoy with your favorite warm beverage! If desired, you can drizzle them with a simple orange glaze.

FAQs

What is the first thing I should make with my KitchenAid mixer? ›

1. WHIP POTATOES, CREAM, BUTTER & EGGS. The hardest part of making whipped cream, fluffy potatoes or delicious eggs is keeping your mixture airy and frothy. By putting your stand mixer on the highest speed setting and using the KitchenAid® whip accessory, more air enters your mixture to increase the volume.

What is the difference between a classic and a deluxe KitchenAid mixer? ›

The KitchenAid® Deluxe 4.5 Quart Tilt-Head stand mixer is a 10-speed mixer with the same accessories and iconic design found on the KitchenAid® Classic or Artisan® mixers. The Deluxe comes with a polished stainless steel bowl featuring a handle like the Artisan® Series.

Who is the KitchenAid rep on QVC? ›

Tina Verrelli KitchenAid on QVC.

Why is KitchenAid so popular? ›

Beyond its beauty, grace, and full throttle power, the KitchenAid is loved for its versatility, too. The dough hook, whisk, and paddle are the standard attachments, but it accommodates up to 12 different tool accessories, including a pasta roller, spiralizer, and meat grinder, to name just a few.

What not to do with a KitchenAid mixer? ›

Be careful not over-mix or over-whip! With the powerful motor of a stand mixer, your whipped cream can turn to butter in seconds and overmixing your cake batter will make it dense and flat from too many gluten strands. NOTE: Do not scrape the bowl while the Stand Mixer is operating.

What number is best on KitchenAid mixer? ›

Speeds 4 and 5 are best for recipes calling for mixing or beating on medium. These speeds are ideal for mixing cake batters, cookie doughs, or the first stages of making a meringue.

Which KitchenAid color is most popular? ›

Aside from classic blacks and whites, Pistachio, Aqua Sky and Empire Red are among the most popular KitchenAid® stand mixer colors.

Which is better, bowl-lift or tilt head? ›

Bowl-lift mixers are typically more powerful and have larger capacities, which makes them ideal for heavy-duty tasks and big batches. On the other hand, tilt-head mixers are convenient for everyday use and ease of access, especially when adding ingredients or changing the paddle.

What is the most popular KitchenAid? ›

Our favorite stand mixer (for its power, versatility, and variety of attachments) is the KitchenAid 7-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. We also think the KitchenAid Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer is a good match for most home bakers.

What happened to Bob Warden from QVC? ›

All KitchenAid stand mixers are assembled in its factory in Greenville, Ohio.

What should I use my KitchenAid mixer for? ›

The mixer's powerful motor enables it to tackle heavy mixing tasks, such as preparing cake batter and cookie dough, with ease. Additionally, it can be used for shredding cooked meat, grinding ingredients, and even making pasta from scratch. The KitchenAid Stand Mixer is a reliable companion for any cooking enthusiast.

What is the first step when using a food mixer? ›

STEP 1: PLACE YOUR STAND MIXER ON A FLAT SURFACE

Place your stand mixer on a flat, hard surface such as a countertop. This will ensure stability and help your ingredients blend more consistently.

What are the three basic attachments for a KitchenAid mixer? ›

Some mixers come with a flex edge beater, a double flex edge beater or a pastry beater as well.
