Passing it all has changed my life as now I can trade bigger capital knowing that I am good enough that I passed both stages which is the hardest part!
What was the hardest obstacle on your trading journey?
Hardest is the waiting being patient not taking risky trades this can lead to a massive downside on your risk management you can’t just focus on 1 trading style which a lot of people get stuck into the routine of but adapt to the markets one day you might be full-on fundamentals the next you’ll be on the analysis of the chart just don’t get tunnel vision thinking that 1 way is the only correct
How did Maximum loss limits affect your trading style?
Maximum loss wow I was quite deep into it on my verification I lien trading gold a lot I think I was -$6k at one point but when my gold trade came through it put me back right on track

Be patient you don’t want to rush into things you have 30 & 60days! 10 1% trades and you are done I have seen it passed in 1 trade but the risk management was awful!
Trader Daniel - The biggest piece of advice I can give is "risk management."
What was easier than expected during the FTMO Challenge or Verification?
I personally thought maintaining under the allowed "Max Loss" was easier than expected.

Yes, I have a trading plan in place that I have been crafting for some time and has proven to me to be profitable.
Do you plan to take another FTMO Challenge to manage even bigger capital?
Yes, I plan to do so in the near future.

To be honest I cannot point out an obstacle that I would like to call the hardest because I believe trading in all aspects is hard. I mean in the sense that it takes time and skill to master, just like anything worthwhile in life.
How did you manage your emotions when you were in a losing trade?
When I see myself losing a couple of trades in a row it is important to take a step away from charts and take some time to analyze.
One piece of advice for people starting the Challenge now.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is "risk management", before you enter each trade you should calculate what you are willing to risk. Always plan for the worst, and stick to your trading strategy; if you don't have a strategy don't trade.
Trader Hans - "I understood that I had to follow my trading plan blindly if I wanted to succeed in this industry."
What do you think is the most important characteristic/attribute to become a profitable trader?
Consistently following your trading plan, never stepping off your risk management
Has your psychology ever affected your trading plan?
Of course, I started revenge trading after few losing trades, but over time I understood that the markets are random and the outcome of each individual trade is random, so I understood that I had to follow my trading plan blindly if I wanted to succeed in this industry.
What do you think is the key for long-term success in trading?
Strict risk management rules, working out at least 55% winning rate trading plan and following it all the time, the key is to think like a casino, if your risk management is in place then the house will always win in the long run, don’t think that trading is a get rich quick scheme
How would you rate your experience with FTMO?
Very pleasant, everything is going really smoothly
How does your risk management plan look like?
Usually, twin trading or with one bigger lot size, the first target is always 1:3 R:R, I put my stop loss in profit after 25-30 pip movement and close out the first trade and let the second one run in the direction of the overall trend and then taking out partial profits along the way
What would you like to say to other traders that are attempting the FTMO Challenge?
Don’t give up, plan your trades and trade your plan and you’ll be good, believe in yourself.

What was the hardest obstacle on your trading journey?
The hardest obstacle I had to overcome was not to over trade, especially if I just lost money
How does your risk management plan look like?
My risk management plan was simple and easy to follow on paper, the most I’d ever risk was 1% however I am very impatient with my losses so typically cut them shorter for a small loss
How does passing the FTMO Challenge and Verification changed your life?
FTMO has the potential to change my life as I know I have the right skills to excel in the trading industry however like most funding was the issue, this gives a chance to find my own personal account
How did you manage your emotions when you were in a losing trade?
My emotions ran wild for the first couple of days when starting out as it wasn’t something I’ve done before, however, I then settled and took it as if it was my personal account and things went to plan, I try to keep as busy as possible when in trades to cross off the emotions
