By incorporating games and activities, I transformed math lessons into engaging experiences that my students loved.In the video I'm sharing, I show how I gamified the concept of money:Students played "Picnic" using pretend money, making their own calculations for purchases.They then played "Shopkeeper" where they practiced buying and selling.The video also includes a fun, shopping-themed worksheet I designed to solidify their understanding.But wait, there's more! Gamification wasn't just for money – it became my go-to strategy for all the lessons. From spooky ghost story worksheets(they love ghost stories) in measurements to building with student-made manipulatives for basic operation.
