Is Celestyal Cruises adult only? ›

The adults-only area allows you to relax in premium comfort, laze around the pool, shade in a private cabana and soak up the beguiling panoramic views of the Greek Isles. The Celestyal Experience boasts a range of premium accommodation options and a first-classpersonal service to match.

Celestyal Cruises has two cruise ships: the MS Celestyal Discovery and the MS Celestyal Journey. The cruise line operates out of Athens, Greece offering itineraries on a 3,4- and 7-night basis around the Greek islands, Turkey, and the Eastern Mediterranean.

For the duration of your cruise, you will be required to sign an invoice for all beverages consumed. Guests may only order one beverage per card at a time. Alcoholic beverages shall only be served to guests over 18 years of age and in the US over 21 years old.

Celestyal Cruises is a value brand. That's not to say the experience isn't good or that service is lacking. But it's not a white glove, fine wine and dining, luxury brand.

What type of entertainment and activities are provided on adults-only cruises? Our onboard entertainment is designed to suit the sophisticated tastes of our Sailors – from elevated eateries like Pink Agave and Gunbae (our Korean BBQ) to table games in our Casino, and a relaxing massage at our Redemption Spa.

The average age onboard is between 40 and 65, depending on the season.

Does Celestyal Journey have a casino? ›

In 1996, a cruise ship was chartered for the first time to Thomson Cruises, owned by TUI, the world's largest tour operator. Following the growing trend in the cruise sector, Louis plc creates in 2014 a new brand, “Celestyal Cruises”.
