This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft rotten flesh with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, rotten flesh is a food item that when eaten has a chance of giving you the Hunger effect. You can not make rotten flesh with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.

How to get Rotten Flesh in Survival Mode
You can add rotten flesh to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a zombie or zombified piglin. So let's get started!
1. Find a Zombie or Zombified Piglin
You first need to find either a zombie or a zombified piglin. You can find zombies in most Overworld biomes in light levels of 7 or less. Zombies will spawn in the dark, usually at night. You can find zombified piglins in the Nether (commonly found in the Bastion Remnant).
2. Attack and Kill the Zombie or Zombified Piglin
Once you find a zombie or a zombified piglin, you need to attack it. When you attack the mob, it will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to chase and attack the mob. Once you have killed the mob, it will drop rotten flesh.
3. Pick up the Rotten Flesh
Make sure you pick up the rotten flesh before it disappears.
Rotten Flesh is an item that you can add to your inventory.
