Parhelion Aerospace drone logbooks have been trusted by serious professionals and drone enthusiasts since 2016.

"Having recently qualified and been employed as a commercialdrone pilot, I was looking for a drone specific log book to recordmy flights. The digital version of UAV Pilot Pro allows me to record my flights side by side with the EFB software used by my employer. I initially had a few teething problems with the log book software, but Parhelion Aerospace responded rapidly to my issues and quickly corrected the problems. Excellent customer support. I would recommend this log book to all, both private and commercial drone pilots."

There’s nothing quite like the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition.

Every logbook that we make reflects the same aspirations: professional design, based on decades of aviation industry experience, quality construction for durability and ease of use without sacrificing completeness of data coverage; all of which amount to value for money and the satisfaction of knowing that we have made a useful and necessary product for drone pilots and owners like ourselves.

The print version of our flagship UAV Pilot Logbook Pro was (and still is) the first and only drone logbook of its kind in the world - a log designed especially for professional drone pilots.

The new, fillable-PDF edition is yet another first for Parhelion.

- it is the only comprehensive, stand-alone, fillable-PDF, digital drone pilot logbook available anywhere.

- it gives you the ease and accuracy of electronic logging but without being tethered to an internet connection and an expensive, monthly payment.

- it also has the advantages of a print logbook: portability, independence, ease of use, inexpensiveness and “show-ability” (that is, the ability to show your flying experience to a client or employer without having to call up results from an online database).

- and it has, of course, the expected advantages of an electronic log: easy data entry, correctability and accuracy of calculations.

You also gain peace of mind, knowing that your data remain on your own computer and not in the archives of some subscription company over which you have no control. Can any given logbook subscription service guarantee that they will stay in business forever?

You get the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition by paying the
one-time charge of $29.00.

  • You download the PDF document immediately - no waiting to receive your log from Amazon or any other store.
  • You can open the document on your computer anywhere, no internet connection required.
  • You can save your data within the document and print pages if needed.
  • The logbook format is familiar - it looks just like a regular, printed logbook.
  • The book is easy to use - you just enter your takeoff and landing times into the designated boxes and the document automatically calculates (elapsed) flight time and then displays this in the ‘Total’ time box for that flight.
  • The document automatically sums all data on a page and carries over the page totals to the next page, so that you get automatic, accurate, running totals throughout the book from beginning to end.

This logbook allows you to record much more than just your flights. You can also record details about your equipment, storage locations, ownership and insurance to name a few. You can, if you wish, create a very comprehensive record of your equipment and flying experience. The Digital Edition is the same professional logbook that we have sold for years in printed form - the only one of its kind for the range of data that you can record and, now, for digital format as well.

Specs and Limitations

The UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition works fine on Mac or PC. You will need Adobe Reader or Acrobat to use the logbook. Easy instructions on how to fill out the book are available within the logbook itself, andhere.

Some specs:

  • Document type: fillable PDF
  • PDF version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)
  • File size: 2.01 MB
  • Number of pages: 197
  • Number of flights that can be recorded: 640

Some limitations:

- This digital drone logbook will not do automatic calculations and sums on tablets, iPads or smartphones. This is due to the limitations inherent in the creation of fillable-PDF documents.

- It does not accept inputs from external data sources, such as drone onboard flight logs. You have to type in the takeoff and landing times of your flights yourself. Flight duration will then be automatically calculated and displayed by the document.

- You additionally have to type in the automatically-calculated flight duration for the different categories of flight that you want to record, such as rotary, fixed-wing, night, instructor, etc. For example, if the document calculated that your flight lasted 20 minutes, it would automatically display 00:20 in the ‘Total’ column for that flight - if you wanted, however, to keep track of your fixed-wing time vs your rotary time, you would type 00:20 into the fixed-wing or rotary column for that flight. The document will automatically sum all of these categories and carry over the sums just as it does for the Total times.

The sample instructions page below shows what you will need to enter and what the document will automatically calculate (the colors are for this example only; they do not appear in the actual book):

For each Data page, such as the one above, there is a corresponding Notes page, shown below. The Notes page allows you to record information about the aircraft and about the circ*mstances and purposes of your flights. No automatic calculations occur on this page, but none are needed. Each pair of pages covers 8 flights in total. The example below begins at Flight No. 9, corresponding to Flight No. 9 in the example above.

Returns / Refunds

Due to the nature of this product (e.g. once you have it, you have it; there is really no possibility of a realistic return). We therefore do not offer a money-back guarantee. To avoid disappointment, please be sure before you order it that this logbook is the one that you want.

Who this digital drone logbook is for:

  • Drone pilots who want to digitally log their flight data but who don’t want to buy an expensive, online digital logging subscription.
  • Drone pilots who want an independent, digital logbook that doesn’t require an internet connection to use.
  • Drone pilots who want the ease of use of the familiar, traditional logbook format, as opposed to a more complicated and time-consuming data-input service.
  • Drone pilots who want to keep their data secure on their own computer.

Who this digital drone logbook is not for:

  • Drone pilots who want to have a service that digitally collates their data and generates different analyses, plots and trends. It’s a logbook, not a data service.
  • Drone pilots who always log their data at home / in the office and who never need to be offline.
  • Drone pilots who don’t mind paying for expensive subscriptions.
  • Drone pilots who trust that their subscription logbook service will be around forever.
  • Drone pilots who buy equipment (logbooks, in this case) on speculation, without careful review, and then expect to return them for their money back if they aren’t what was ‘hoped’ for (please don’t do this!).

Logging your drone flight data doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming.

Make things easy on yourself by using the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition.

Spend far less, work offline and retain your own data on your own computer.
