How do I bulk pick up at the town of Cortlandt? ›

A special bulk pick-up can be arranged for a $30.00 fee and follow the same guidelines as our regular bulk pick up. You can stop by our office and pay the $30.00 fee (cash/check) or mail us a check to Sanitation Division, 167 Roa Hook Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. Please call with any questions at 914-737-0100.

Bulk pick-ups still need to be scheduled through Republic Services in advance. Call Republic at 419.936. 2511 by the day before your regular trash collection day. For example, if your trash collection is Wednesday, you must call Republic to schedule your pick-up by Tuesday, and your items will be collected on Thursday.

This service is FREE to all Buena Park residential *refuse customers. Simply call Park Disposal / EDCO at least two days prior to your normal weekly trash pickup at (714) 522-3577 to notify them that you will have large and bulky items for pickup. Then place the items at the curb alongside your trash cans.

Bulk waste pickup is a special pickup for bulky waste / bulky household items. Furniture removal, appliance removal, junk removal, and construction debris removal would all fall into this category. Something is considered a large item (or bulk item) if it is too large to fit inside a bin or bag. NYC residents can get free curbside removal of large items – no appointment necessary. Set your large items out at the curb next to your trash. You can set out up to six items (bags, bundles) per collection day.

The Compression Pack Method

Compression packs work wonders for bulky items like ski pants and heavy sweaters. Simply put your items in a bag and roll it to get the air out. Along with saving space, this method helps to keep your clothing wrinkle-free if done correctly.

The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation provides a free "Bulky Item" pick up service to its residential customers. We encourage you to recycle your bulky items through charitable organizations and thrift stores.

Bulk picking combines a 'bulk' stage in which product for several orders is picked in bulk from locations, and a 'sort' stage in which the product is broken down into individual orders.

To request a Bulk Trash Collection, call the Chesapeake Customer Contact Center at 757-382-CITY (2489) by 5 p.m. the work day prior to your scheduled collection day or fill out the online Bulk Trash Pickup Request by 11:59 p.m. the day prior to your scheduled collection day.

BULK ITEMS AND SCRAP METAL

Pickup of bulk trash and scrap metal must be scheduled by calling 410-313-6444. A maximum of four (4) bulk items will be collected. Items must be able to be lifted by two collection crew members (oversized and unaccepted items will be tagged and left for the resident's disposal).
