Nice combo of flavors with the garlic, pine nuts, and spinach. Added red pepper flakes as others suggested. Also threw in extra garlic, and I used homemade gnocchi.

I made this last night and was very happy with the results, it was a hit. I used power greens in place of spinach, was generous with the cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Very flavorful, light, and quick. Can be made vegan with earth balance buttery sticks.

REALLY good! And yes, a keeper. So super quick and easy, but we are complete carnivores so for a main dish I added little chunks of Italian sausage, mushrooms and crushed red. I can see making it meatless for a side, though. My guy enjoyed it so much he said he would have been happy to pay for it were it in a restaurant.

So I really liked this as a base for a dish. I went a lil crazy, but it turned out like a good solid, eat all week lunch dish. I added onions, red peppers, cabbage and artichokes as a good base for it w/basil and oregano cooked in the artichoke olive oil, topped w/goat cheese. Then I added the gnocchi, with the spinach and more goat cheese and some mozzarella w/more of the spices. I used macadamia nuts and toasted them before hand in my wok. I added capers at the end to cut through the richness. Over all, very good dish. Thanks for sharing!

I made this recipe as directed, except I substituted packaged tortellini for the gnocchi and added 4 oz. of browned chorizo at the end. Absolutely delicious! I would be proud to serve this at my next dinner party, especially with a zingy Sauvignon Blanc. :)

Super easy and tasty. Didn't seem to make 4 cups. Maybe I didn't realize how much my BF actually ate? Either way, great weeknight meal. Salad and some crusty bread really rounds it out! Sauteed some mushrooms to add to the leftovers and ate for lunch. Even better!

Excellent. I couldn't find gnocci and used cheese tortellini instead. Fabulous, but if you use tortellini, make sure not to add as much salt. I also added a pinch of crushed red pepper for a little spice which turned out well.

I have made this with fresh aspargus also and it's very good. I can find frozen gnocchi in my local Kroger store -- it's a very good product. Since I'm allergic to pine nuts, I used finely chopped walnuts instead.

This was a super easy recipe with very minimal prep time. I couldn't find fresh gnocci in my local store so I used stuffed tortellini. The tortellini overpowered the other flavors and that's why it was just an OK product. I think I'll try it again with home made gnocci. I'm sure it will be much better.

I just happened to have everything needed to make this last night, so we gave it a shot. It all came together very quickly and the flavor was good. You do need to take special care to watch the butter and pine nuts so they do not burn. This was a "Meatless Monday" recipe, but I do believe that in the future I would throw in a little pancetta or something to give it a little extra "oomph".

So So So So SO easy! I love this recipe because it is delicious and simple. I added walnuts in addition to the pine nuts because I didn't have enough, and they are quite expensive. I served with a salad and walnut bread. The only thing I recommend is doubling the recipe... it might be enough for 3 people, but it's definitely not enough for 4 as a main dish.

I love gnocchi, and this dish really lets them shine. Not super substantial as a meal on its own for more than one person, but you could easily pair this with grilled chicken or fish. It's so easy to make, but make sure not to burn the butter and pine nuts. I find 3 minutes to be too long for that step.

I've never had gnocchi before and was pleasantly surprised. This was delicious and so easy to put together. I used walnuts instead of pine nuts and my package of spinach was 8 ounces instead of the 10. Next time will use the 10 ou. as there was more gnocchi than spinach left over. A definite repeat.

This is one of my absolute favorite go-to recipes during the week. It is delicious and very easy to prepare. It might seem like alot of spinach, but it wilts down to the perfect amount. I had never tried gnocchi before so wasn't really sure what to expect. Wow! This dish was absolutely fantastic! I did alter the recipe just a bit by using half the spinach and adding one cup of diced ham, but it's the brown butter and pine nuts that really make this a stand out. There is nothing about this recipe that tastes light. Maybe that's why I thought it was so delicious.

I made this for a special occasion, and everyone in my family loved this! It seems so gourmet and fancy, but it's so easy to prepare. I didn't use the full amount of butter. I love gnocchi! This recipe is good as is, but then I found some tomato and mozzarella filled gnocchi. The sweet tomato didn't mesh very well with the rest so I used only 2 tsp pine nuts and 1.5 tsp garlic. The directions for the gnocchi called for frying in butter, so I put them in with the pine nuts right away. I might wait a minute or so before throwing them in, they got a little mushy - or maybe take them out before adding the spinach...but it was excellent!

Loved this meal. Made as directed, except used one 6 oz bag of baby spinach, since I had it on hand. So easy, so delicious. I really enjoyed the rich buttery and nutty flavors of this dish. Husband is a big fan of limp noodles slathered with red sauce but he said I could add this to my list of "keeper recipes". I also made the salad dressing in this recipe but found it needed a dash of balsamic for my taste.

Even my kids loved it. I had to double the recipe at the last minute to host a surprise guest and threw in some tortellini in addition to the one package of gnocchi I had. I give this 4 stars for the ease of preparation alone! There is barely any prep except chopping garlic. I did add some crumbled bits of bacon in here (since my boyfriend is very much against a meal without any meat) and I thought it brought a great saltiness to it. I would suggest though leaving out the salt in the water when boiling the gnocchi and also the bit of salt in the recipe so its not too salty. I will definitely make this again!

I thought this recipe was delicious. Although I love spinach, I used only about 1/2 of what is called for in the recipe because I didn't want to use it all up. Without the extra spinach, the recipe fed just 3 people rather than 4. I will definitely make this again. Super easy and very tasty.

I thought this was just ok. I thought it was a tad bit too spinach-y- especially since gnocchi is so gooey anyway, I felt like there needed to be something else in the recipe, texture wise, besides chewy gnocchi and wilted spinach. The pine nuts added some crunch, but not enough.
