Bishop Joseph Strickland will lead a Eucharistic procession in reparation for the offenses committed by the anti-Catholic drag “nuns” who will be celebrated at an upcoming Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game.

On June 16, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Catholics will process from the Cathedral of Our Lady Queen of the Angels to Dodger Stadium, where the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an anti-Catholic group of drag “nuns,” will be honored during “Pride Night.”

The procession, first announced by Catholics for Catholics, will be offered “in reparation for offenses committed against Jesus Christ and all Christians by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (Drag Queens impersonating nuns and performing blasphemous shows).”

The procession is sponsored by several Catholic groups including LifeSiteNews, Catholics for Catholics, America Needs Fatima, and CatholicVote.

Strickland recently urged Catholics on The Bishop Strickland Show to boycott events and companies that promote the LGBT agenda, including Target, Bud Light, and the upcoming Dodgers game.

“We need to speak up. … Thankfully, Archbishop Cordileone, he nailed it when he talked about this garbage going on at Dodger Stadium. And, in itself, it’s satanic. It’s evil. And he said it shows what god … these people worship,” His Excellency stated. “And he’s absolutely right. They worship the worldly, fake, non-divine gods of money and power and worldly influence. And it is the path to hell. And they need to wake up. And anyone of faith needs to be stronger in faith than ever.”

“If you know the truth, you have to share it,” he added. “And no power on earth can or should cause us to tone it down or to be quiet.”

I believe Strickland wants to be fired by Pope Francis, after which he will promptly secede to the SSPX. All his controversial actions over the past three months have been to thumb his nose at Pope Francis and the Catholic establishment.

There is no justification for a bishop of another territory to come to LA to lead this march unless expressly invited by Archbishop Gomez.

If Archbishop Gomez doesn’t participate, Gomez will have egg on his face.

This is all designed to make Gomez look bad. Strickland is asking for it.

asking for it, What evidence do you have that Bishop Strickland wants to join the SSPX? That’s a serious allegation. God tells us, “Do not entertain an accusation against a presbyter (priest) unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.” (1 Tim. 5:19).
The Apostles and even subsequent bishops were not bound by their diocesan boundaries.
Bishop John Stowe (Lexington, KY) publicly, in a world-wide forum, criticized the bishops for encouraging a Eucharistic revival and dis’d Adoration. He seems to have a severe case of synoditis. “Instead of ensuring a eucharistic centrality to the synodal process, allowing for an organic discernment about our eucharistic understanding, plans for a mega-event featuring plenty of pre-conciliar piety and theology have replaced the focus on the Synod for a Synodal Church in the USCCB. It does not strike me as coincidental that much of the Eucharistic Revival focuses on eucharistic adoration, passive in nature, and so offers an easy alternative to the active engagement of walking together synodally,” he wrote. Your thoughts? Should he speak only to those from his part of Kentucky?

“If Archbishop Gomez doesn’t participate, Gomez will have egg on his face. This is all designed to make Gomez look bad. Strickland is asking for it.” Is it possible that Abp. Gomez either invited Bp. Strickland, or Bp. Strickland asked permission of Abp. Gomez ? True, we don’t know, but either possibility makes sense on the basis of collegiality among bishops. Just wondering…

they might not, Did you read the verse you just posted? Jesus said, “If your brother or sister sins…” (Matt. 18:15). You took that quote out of context. He is speaking about relationships within the Church. The men mocking Christianity are not the bishop’s brothers. They are human beings loved unconditionally by God and should be loved by us, but that doesn’t make them brothers. They’ve rejected, at least for now, our Father. The “abbess” describes himself as an agnostic. “Sister Selma Soul,” the “sexytary” and board “sexytary,”describes himself as between gnostic and agnostic. “Sister Tilda NexTime,” the mistress of propaganda, describes his religion as “Bowieism – I fully recognize David Bowie as Our Lord and Savior.” Let’s be honest, “they would”, these men are not our brothers in Christ. Pray for their repentance, that they might join the family of God.

Mostly it’s Latina grandmas who are still in the church among that racial demographic.

Any canonists out there? Clergy can’t so much as do a baptism out of their diocese without a letter of good standing changing hands. If nothing else, this presents a fascinating canon law question…gonna go out on a limb and say it’s never happened before. Although, odds are there have been the necessary inter-diocesan correspondence and we’re just not hearing about it….

  8. Giovanni Serafino June 8, 2023 at 8:33 am - Reply

The letter of “good standing” is called a “Celebret” and is issued by the bishop of the diocese to priests traveling outside the their own diocese. requesting permission for the priest to celebrate Mass. it is highly unlikely that a bishop would issue such a letter to himself. A visiting bishop would certainly contact the local bishop and inform him of his presence in the diocese and ask “ permission” to exercise any public ministry.

Even the devil appears as an angel of light. 2Cor. 11:14. And make no mistake, the campaign is against those who would honor sin and corruption. The Dodger organization has lost its moral compass.

I have just read that the Archdiocese will not participate in the June 16th protest. I am grateful that reasons were given: to enter into prayer and dialogue with all parties concerned, or words to that effect. So a few brave Catholics, led by bishop Strickland, are taking a stand against the satanic Sisters on their own. Much could be said and will be said about the Archdiocesan position. It should be recognized by everyone that the LGBTQ+ juggernaut remains a profound threat to the Church and the Dodgers’ honoring of the Sisters shows how advanced the forces of darkness have penetrated society and sadly parts of the Church as well. It seems God raises up a few to contend against the many– witness Matt Walsh almost single-handedly taking on the trans activists. So here the few do spiritual battle against the many. I leave it to others to give their view of Abp. Gomez. Rather than trigger jon, I keep my opinion to myself.

Do you have a Baltimore Catechism? It is online if you don’t.
There is a Commandment against bearing false witness.
I hope everyone that takes part in the Eucharistic Procession is doing so because they really love and follow Jesus Christ, not because they judge, slander, calumnize and hate the Dodgers or the Sisters.

“Purify your heart..” Always good advice anytime, anywhere. And true, it is never good to slander– I am in total agreement–or bear false witness. Now tell me clearly how I have done these things, clearly referencing the moral excellence of the Sisters (and the Dodgers) which I presume is behind your counsel to me, and thanks in advance.

I must defend Christ (IMDC). This must be our battle cry. We cannot turn our Lord over again and again to His torturers, crucifiers, the bystanders in the crowd. Our Savior said to Pontius Pilate that if His Kingdom were of the world His subjects would fight to defend Him. So we must fight. If we are assaulted we can turn a cheek, but Christ never meant that we are to place Him again before the executioners. This is a fight against the demonic for the salvation of souls.
