Why didn't Marty's parents recognise him? ›

Marty's parents not recognizing him as Calvin Klein can be explained by the fact that they only knew him for six days when they were 17, and he did not spend all his time with them. George and Lorraine likely have a faint idea of what Calvin looked like, but not enough to notice the resemblance between Marty and him.
