Stop charging $246.00 for the oil change just because "ogh, it's a Mercedes"! In NY I'm charged HALF of that! BTW, even the highest-priced high-performance oil filter from H&K for these cars is just $22 -- check Amazon (NOT $84, as my invoice says -- JUST FOR THE FILTER! $84?? Seriously??). I'll NEVER go back to Midas again (and advise all my will friends to avoid this place as a plague).

I did not expect my car to be seen the same day, and told Andrew that. I have brought my car to Wakefield ri Midas since Mike (? Name) took over. I feel when I have a problem I am treated respectfully and I am kept updated on progress or problems. I no longer feel when I contact Midas Wakefield RI that they are doing me a favor. I have recommended two other people to Midas and they too are satisfied with customer service and service.

Employees made my visit very comforting. Great conversations, very polite, and kept me informed with what was being done during the visit. They took further steps with explaining clearly some repairs recommended. Not only did they take the time to explain it clearly but informed me it could be taken care of today. Very great service from the moment I walked in and speaking with Andrew Burgess, Jason tellier and Derek until the moment I walked out a happy and satisfied customer. Great job!! I brought the car in because the rear tire was whobbling. I was told I needed a new battery and it was a special battery (when I had no problems with it) the cost was over $600 just for the battery. I was also told I needed 4 new tires. My husband was out of town and told them I would be in touch on Monday. They charged me $68 to take my car when they did nothing. I went to 2 other stores and were told my battery was absolutely fine and was NOT a special battery. The tire store I went to told me only one tire was a little worn and not necessary to do anything right now. I went back to Midas asking to see what told them my battery was bad. I saw the machine reading which show NO signs of needing to be replaced. They had no answer to the "special" battery. I asked for a refund as I did not request a diagnostic test. They refused. I have since learned that two other people experienced the same exact thing at this Midas. I waisted my entire day going to confirm their findings and cost me $68 and the car is fine.

They said I needed a new battery ~ which is ok, but would’ve preferred a bit more information as to why, how old it was etc. I bought it as second hand car in good condition and in my price range. I just moved here, and have kept up with the car’s maintenance. Just 2 months it had been inspected before moving here to RI. Was never notified that I needed a new battery. I’m satisfied with the customer service and it was probably time for a new battery, it was approximately 2 years old from the time I had purchased it. Hey I got a new battery, one less worry, thank you to the team at Midas, very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating . ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

As always I received a call quickly after requesting an appt on line. I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours of phone call. Dropped car off around 930am and within an hour received a phone call for estimated cost which was more than reasonable. Within a few hours I received a call that my car was all set and ready for pick up. Every time I’ve used Midas I’ve always been impressed with the quality of service. Also how quick and efficient they always are

For the third visit in a row, the employees have not rotated my tires thinking that I would not notice. However, I mark my tires because I’m aware this is a common tactic to save time. Every single time, I have to call the mechanic out for taking shortcuts, they apologize, and rotate them. This time, however, the employee spoke to me as though I was incompetent. He even explained to me that “the engine is actually in the front of your car,”. As a young woman, I am commonly treated this way when attempting to service my vehicle. After a brief, slightly heated discussion with the employee, I decided the conversation was not worth my time & I decided to leave. However, while my vehicle was being serviced, I spoke on the phone with an associate regarding a possible battery replacement, and he told me that “they’d just finished my oil change and tire rotation”. During our discussion, the associate explained to me that my tires were not due for a rotation at this time (after I was already told they WERE rotated). Ironically, on my receipt, under “recommended services” was listed “TIRE ROTATION”, in addition to a replacement battery.

My car had to be towed to Midas because my starter died. I left a message before Midas opened that I was doing this with no expectation for my car to be ready the same day. I received a call back from Jason, before Midas opened, that the dropoff was fine. My car would be looked at and I would be contacted. I was, it was the starter and was told they would attempt to get it done that day. They did! The staff at the Wakefield RI Midas are always pleasant. BUT, always professional.

Kevin was super accommodating and helped us tremendously. He was hugely accommodating to our needs. My wife came in for oil change and inspection. He finished this job. And Kevin actually took my Jeep the same day w/o appointment. And managed to do an oil change, and tire rotation on my Jeep. I couldn't get into dealership for this service for 2 weeks. I dropped my car off the night before for oil change and overall maintenance. I received a text the next day outlining what was done. I was very impressed with this. My car died, and I had my car towed to Midas. It was shortly before closing, so they told me they would look at the next day. Early the next day, they phoned me and told me it was just the battery, how much it would cost, and approximately when it would be ready. I told them to go ahead and replace it. They sent me a picture of the work being done, and early in the afternoon, they told me it was ready. I was so thrilled to have my cqr back, without it costing me an arm and a leg. I love my local Midas. I've been using them for years.

Kevin (I hope that's right) was super. I missed my 9 am appointment, he called to remind me. I wasn't able to re-schedule as they were booked out for a couple of weeks. I got a call an hour or so later fron Kevin telling me some time had opened. I brought my car in and it was done in 45 minutes!! As there was no one else waiting, he offered the remote to Netflix on the TV, coffee, water, and showed me the location of the restroom. It was a lovely experience. I actually enjoyed getting an oil change! When does that happen??

I dropped my car off for service and asked if I could wait around for ~1 hour while I waited for my ride to come pick me up. The lobby was spotless and the employees were welcoming and professional. Not only was the man up front extremely undrastanding, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
