Can I get into Kent State with a 2.7 GPA? ›

Minimum 3.0 overall high school grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

This makes Kent State University Strongly Competitive for GPAs. (Most schools use a weighted GPA out of 4.0, though some report an unweighted GPA. With a GPA of 3.65, Kent State University requires you to be above average in your high school class. You'll need a mix of A's and B's, with a leaning toward A's.
