Purchase food fresh foods that are grown locally and are in season. We love fresh local strawberries, rhubarb, peaches, asparagus, corn on the cob, green beans, and more.
What Is Best for Dinner on a Hot Summer Day?

Have cool sides like a crisp green salad, fruit salad, coleslaw, broccoli salad, or any of your favorites. BLTs are tasty when local tomatoes are ripe for a quick dinner. Turn to ice cream pies, cones, or sundaes for dessert.
